Established in 1997, the biennial IMDEX Asia is the premier international maritime defence show in the Asia- Pacific and beyond. IMDEX Asia comprises an exhibition, strategic conferences and a warships display. It has gained recognition as the global platform to address pressing issues within the naval and maritime security industry, showcase the latest technologies and connect key players from navies, governments and industry.
A must-attend show in the international maritime defence calendar, IMDEX Asia 2015 will be the tenth in the series.
Highlights of IMDEX Asia 2015
1. Exhibition
The exhibition, comprising the Static and Warships Displays and Technology Seminars and Demonstrations, will showcase an extensive range of cutting-edge technologies by manufacturers and providers of naval products, systems and services.
Exhibitors
IMDEX Asia 2015 will welcome new exhibitors such as Ametek, Kairos Singapore, Kelvin Hughes, KM Kinley, Qinetiq, Microflown, Stone Marine, Strategic Marine and Teho Ropes.
Returning major industry players Damen Naval, Elbit, General Dynamics Canada, Israel Aerospace Industries, Lüerssen, MBDA, MTU, Navantia, Rafael, Saab, ST Marine, Thales and ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems will also participate in the exhibition.
Static and Warships Displays
The popular Static and Warships Displays will return to IMDEX Asia 2015. The Static Display within the exhibition hall will include amphibious crafts and rigid hulled inflatable boats. The Warships Display at Changi Naval Base offers visitors the rare opportunity to get first-hand experience of the on-board operations of warships and rub shoulders with senior naval officers from various countries.
Technology Seminars and Demonstrations
The Technology Seminars and Demonstrations within the Exhibition will give visitors an in-depth understanding of the design and technological considerations behind the products and solutions on showcase and the opportunity to exchange ideas face-to-face with the presenters.

International Maritime Security Conference (IMSC 2015)
IMSC 2015 brings together Chiefs of Navy, Directors-General of Coast Guard, government officials and key industry players from around the world to discuss threats to maritime safety and security and develop frameworks and solutions to deal with the security challenges that threaten and disrupt sea lines of communication.
International Naval Engineering Conference @ IMDEX Asia (INEC@IMDEX Asia 2015)
Themed “Adapt and Transform – Flexible Capability in an Uncertain Environment”, INEC@IMDEX Asia 2015 brings together representatives from navies, the industry and academia to discuss developments and challenges faced by the naval engineering industry and the latest technologies on naval platform design.
The 15th Asia-Pacific Submarine Conference (APSC 2015)
The APSC 2015 brings together regional submarine operating navies and other navies and organisations with an interest in submarine safety to discuss issues on submarine survivability, escape and interoperability of rescue assets. APSC helps to foster mutual understanding and cooperation and is an important knowledge-exchange platform for all participants.
