The Manufacturing Solutions Expo (MSE) is one of Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF)’s key initiatives to address the challenges faced by local manufacturers. With rising costs and shortage of skilled workers as top concerns among Singapore businesses, many manufacturing companies are looking for solutions to overcome the challenge of manpower crunch and to develop a sustainable model of productivity improvement. However, many of them do not have the time to look for solutions that can help, or that they are unaware of the solutions available to them.

Manufacturing Solutions Expo hence provides a one-stop comprehensive platform for the companies to find the right solutions. Jointly organised by SMF and Sphere Exhibits, the annual event features a wide range of solutions covering the entire manufacturing value chain, from the starting point of product development, to the ”last mile” solutions that involve logistics and warehousing.



The Manufacturing Solution Expo 2015 was successfully concluded on 2 October 2015 after three days of showcase. Well supported by government agencies and trade associations, MSE 2015 gathered over 100 regional and international brands across the manufacturing value chain under one roof. Apart from the exhibition, there was also a series of interactive learning seminars, product demonstrations and emerging solutions showcase which presented the best practices and trends in the manufacturing sectors.

The manufacturing industry is undergoing a transformation, moving up the value chain and shifting into more high-value and knowledge-based activities. Disruptive and emerging technologies, such as additive manufacturing (3D printing), Internet of Things (IoT) and advanced robotics, generate new business opportunities for manufacturers as well as help address their productivity challenges. In view of such trends, MSE 2015 also featured an Additive Manufacturing & Robotics Showcase for visitors to stay updated with the latest market trends and learn how to successfully adopt advanced technologies into their businesses.



Manufacturing Solutions Expo (MSE) 2016 invites manufacturers across Asia and the rest of the world to discover the boundless possibilities in the growth of manufacturing. As the 3rd edition of the Manufacturing Solutions Expo, MSE 2016 will positioned itself as one of the must-attend trade exhibitions in ASEAN. Targeted to host more than 100 international and regional brands from over 20 countries, MSE 2016 aims to unveil the latest manufacturing methods to improve productivity across the industries. MSE 2016 expects to attract 3,000 international and regional trade visitors – a platform for buyers and sellers to meet potential business partners.
